We believe increasing the number of triple bottom line organizations is the most significant earth-friendly way to have an impact on hunger. If you know of, or are part of, a triple bottom line or any type of Model Organization that you feel is a Model Organization, please nominate the organization so that we may showcase its efforts and successes.

Guidelines for Model Organizations generally include:

A. Contracting out when possible for efficiency sake.
B. Contracting out to those engaged in process of solving social need -- e.g., job training for developmentally challenged or unemployed.
C. Operating with low fixed costs which translates to having virtual offices and employees until revenue streams justify or necessitate a change.
D. Synergistically building on existing resources; creating win-win situations rather than developing own resources.
E. Celebrating actions and activities taken by our stakeholders (people, planet, community) that help in the long-term cure of hunger of the whole person in earth-friendly ways.
F. Recycle, renew, replenish, develop, conserve, promote, reward, and celebrate people and the planet.
